Why teams choose DoMarkdown

A fast, online browser-based workspace for Markdown—live preview, math and diagrams, and one-click export to PDF or Word (DOCX). Built for technical writers, students, and anyone who wants polished documents without a heavy toolchain.

Live preview

See formatting, code blocks, and structure update as you type—tuned for a responsive editing flow.

Math with KaTeX

Render LaTeX-style equations inline and in display mode so papers and specs stay readable.

Mermaid diagrams

Author flowcharts, sequence diagrams, and more in code fences—rendered in the preview.

Syntax-highlighted code

Fenced blocks with a language tag get readable highlighting in the preview—ideal for docs, snippets, and tutorials.

PDF & Word export

Print-to-PDF from the preview for pixel-accurate layouts, or download a DOCX for edits in Microsoft Word.

Edit locally in the browser

Your draft stays on your device while you write; export runs only when you choose PDF or DOCX.

Frequently asked questions

Is DoMarkdown free to use?
Yes. You can use the editor and preview without an account. We aim to keep core Markdown-to-PDF and Markdown-to-Word workflows accessible.
How do Markdown to PDF and Markdown to Word work?
PDF uses your browser’s print pipeline from the preview so pagination matches what you see. DOCX is generated from your Markdown content when you export—ideal for handoff to Word.
Where is my document stored?
Editing happens in your browser session. We don’t persist your manuscript on our servers unless you explicitly use a future signed-in or cloud feature.
Do you support math, tables, and GitHub-flavored Markdown?
Yes—GFM-style tables and task lists, math via KaTeX, and Mermaid for diagrams are supported in the preview pipeline.
Can I change themes or export styling?
Theme and typography options are expanding. Today you can switch preview styling where available; deeper export CSS customization is on the roadmap.
